I think what your doing is absolutely wonderful.

I have put your letter up on my blog but I was wondering why you didn't ask Prof Paul Gregg to sign your letter to the Disabled persons Minister Maria Miller?

Prof Gregg has recently said that he believes the roll out of the new welfare assessments is a big mistake.

Well done anyway..

Hi newsextra1962 - we did consider it, and I'm sure he would have signed. The problem is that Prof. Gregg is somewhat lacking in credibility, and carries his own baggage which would overshadow the message of this letter.

Thanks for replying Rhydian:

Can you explain what you mean he lacks credibility? It's not that I doubt what you say I'm just interested to hear your views.

What do you think the chances of success are for getting the government to rethink it's stance on disibility benefits etc in the welfare reform bill?

None at all all of the political parties approve of it as do many of the public if you vote in a foolish way then you will have to pay the consequences
