The Broken of Britain has posted a blog on libdemvoice.org - the popular Liberal Democrat political blog - as part of our drive to raise awareness of the consequence of the Welfare Reform Bill for disabled people.
Non-partisan UK-based Disability campaign. Advocacy for people with invisible illness and/or physical & mental health conditions. Also Carers, their Families and Friends. Our individual voices are too quiet to be heard, but collectively we can shout loud enough to drown out this tide of abuse against us. Disability Hate Crime, lack of full legal protection, people in care homes costing too much to be let out and not one political party willing to fight for us.

Been following you on Twitter for ages and am always impressed with the information and views you post.....new to the blog and site but I love them just as much. I'll be a regular visitor from now on - great stuff.
I'll be interested to se what the current public backlash results in regarding the lack of support the govt currently seem to be giving the disabled population and those that need additional help and support.....I wouldn't be surprised if we have 2 more years of brick walls and then suddenly a herald of trumpets to signal a short period of spending to coincide with an election!?!
